Question
Morningstar rates my DSPIX mutual fund 3 stars.  My CFIPX mutual fund 3 stars.  My ABHMX mutual fund only 1 star.  In general does that mean my ABHMX mutual fund is terrible and the other two average? I'm trying to learn little by little about mutual funds.  What do you think about the three I have chosen to buy?  I would appreciate any basic information I can learn from.  Thank you, Frank

Answer
I am unable to furnish you with investment advice.  However, it looks like you do your research before making a move.  As for the ratings, bear in mind that past performance is not a guarantee of future performance.  Also, what is your time horizon? Long term? Short speculative term?  Have you discussed tax implications with your tax advisor?  All those variables have to do with your decision to buy, to hold or to sell eventually.  Apologies if I did not hit the nail on the head.
