Question
I've been told that investing in no-load mutual funds is the way to go. (I'm a bit of a financial illiterate). Would you agree that this is a good strategy right now, and if so, which funds would you recommend?

Answer
As it relates to investing in mutual funds, my preference is to use no-load (no commissiones) vs load (commissions) mutual funds. However, which mutual funds to invest in is dependent on a persons financial goals and risk tolerance so it is difficult for me to give specific recommendations. For starters, I would visit www.vanguard.com and enter the personal investors portion of the website. Go to the planning and education tab to read up on the basics of mutual fund investing. Once you have reviewed this information let me know if you have more specific questions and if I can offer additional assistance.  I hope this helps.
