Subject: timing of Mutual Fund purchases

Question
I'm looking to purchase a mutual fund. Is there a "right" time of the year to purchase one? I was not sure if the very end of the year would be a good time.

Thanks!

Answer
I do not think there is a timing per se. I do think that each person has his her own timing regarding his her own specific needs. You may want to meet with your tax advisor and discuss the issue with him her. Thank you for your query and happy new year.
