Question The company that I work for has a 401k with about 200 investment options. Trying to track all of these funds is a chore. I have developed a spreadsheet where I like to insert the weekly performance of these funds. I do this on Saturdays. I categorize the funds by classification and color code per performance. The problem is finding this 1 week data in bulk. CBS Marketwatch has a fund compare tool that allows downloading of 25 funds at a time. It is not always updated in a timely fashion. It is however "corrected" data, adjusted for dividends and the such. Other sites such as Yahoo and MSN provide raw unadjusted data. I am looking for a more reliable source, preferably where I could gather this info in larger bunches. Do you know of a site or program that would accomplish this?
Answer I am not familiar with such software. You may want to check www.morningstar.com or even try to get through to an analyst in Bloomberg, Reuters or Dow Jones. Can't think of anything eles.
PS You may also go to the sites of the broker/dealers who sell the funds, they have info and data as well.
