About Jennifer Peck
Expertise
My expertise is in the whole mystery genre. I have a vast library of mystery novels, dating back almost 15 years. Particular authors are my specialty, such as Dean Koontz, Robert McCammon etc. I know what books they have written, when they were published and can recite to you verbatim excerpts from said books.

Experience
I am an avid reader/collector of all mystery/horror novels. My mind is a steel trap when it comes to this type of literature. I have novels in my library which some have never heard of, which are extraordinary. I write poetry in my spare time and am currently working on my first (and hopefully successful) novel.

Question
Usually I read non-fiction and books that are close to life. But my uncle suggested me to read fiction too, so I just finished, Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code. I want to know which book to read next that is full of mystery and suspense as this one.

Secondly, I want to know why to buy fiction books as they are of no use after first read. What are the advantages of reading Fiction? Please let me know.

Answer
Sorry for the delay in my response, I was out of town and failed to put my vactation notification on.  I would suggest reading anything by James Patterson, Dominick Dunne and Patricia Cornwell as a start.  Both James Patterson and Patricia Cornwell's novels are ongoing - each novel starts where the other one left off so if you find one written by that author just look at the first few pages of the book and you will see which novel to start with.   JD Robb also writes a  good mystery/suspense series - however it is set in the future so it is not to some people's liking.

And to answer your second question, a good book is always worth re-reading down the road - hence you keep them and relive the story again at a later date.

I hope I have helped.
