In reaserching Jason and the Argonauts, I have read Appolonius' Argonautica--which strangely stops dead, just short of Jason's return to Iolkos), and Pindar's Pythian 4, and Euripedes' Medea.
I am of course aware of the full account, but principally from more modern sources, and would now like to authenticate the account in my own mind. But I have run out of known authentic sources, and still without any account of his return to Iolkos and destruction of Pelias. Can you tell me what I have missed?
Regards, Danny
Answer Dear Danny,
There are several variations of the ending of the myth of Jason and the Argonauts. The following links will give you the best of them.
Although most links on mythology are pretty good, the three I gave you are the best, however the last link is, in my opinion, the very best mythology site on the Web.
