Question QUESTION: Hello-
I collect Aurora AFX slot cars....in the mid 1980's they sponsored Bill Elliott in at least one race. I'm looking for the pic of Mr. Elliott wearing the sponsor patch AFX...if I recall correctly, it was on his left chest/shoulder area. I recall seeing it after the race in an interview just after he got out of the car.

ANSWER: It would be a big help if you could give me a year. With 30-36 races a year and 10 years in the 80's (with maybe only "at least one race" to look for) that's a lot of races worth of pictures to search through. Please give me an "approximate" if nothing else and I'll do my best to come with something.

QUESTION: I beleive it to be mid 80's when he was racing the 80s style T-birds, but do not know for sure.

Answer Found you a pic from the 1987 Talledega 500 on July 26th, he's holding the trophy in Victory Lane and you can see the Aurora patch on his left shoulder.
