About Coy Jordan
Expertise
I can answer any questions about drivers, cars, crews, teams, shops, championchips and any technical question about the rules and regulations of NASCAR. The only question I might not be able to answer is one that deals with the small parts inside the car that help the car's performance, but the stuff such as the body, engine, and spoiler are easy.

Question
Do the drivers train with saunas?  I feel if I'd lose a race because of my crew, I'd drag them into a sauna and they can sweat it out with me.  Can you simulate the heat in the cars using saunas?

Answer
Hi Loretta,

I wouldn't be surprised to hear that some of the drivers choose to train in some form with saunas.  Temperatures can easily reach over 120 degrees in the car.  That plus the firesuit in the middle of the day can make it unbearable for some.  But i can not say for sure that drivers use saunas.

Sorry i couldn't help!
Coy Jordan.
