Question Is it a pit rule that changed tires off of the race car must touch pit wall prior to car leaving pit box, and if so can you send copy of the rule, or web site to find copy of rule. Thanks in advance
Answer No this is not a rule. The tires must be cleared from the pit box so as not to obstruct any other cars entering or leaving their pits. As for the "rules", NASCAR only gives copies to NASCAR members and they are not posted any where on the net. Posting them by anyone would be a copyright violation.
