I am set to start chemo for breast cancer in about two weeks. Do you think I
need to remove my gel manicure?
Answer That's completely at the discretion of your Doctor.
I cannot say I have ever had anyone have problems with them, and the only time I have ever had anyone need to remove anything, it was solely so that the Doctor and/or nurses could see the color of the nail bed, as it can help pinpoint anything wrong circulation-wise.
