Nail Care & Manicures - Salon Nail Maintaining

Expert: Keeley Dennyschene - 5/4/2008

Question
Hello, I really lik the salon nails but I cannot keep up with the cost of maintaining them. Can I get them done at a salon and when the time comes maintain them myself at home? I understand they might not look as good but decent is fine with me. And I don't want just a french mani but funky colors.

Answer
hi ann

it is alway better to have your nails done professionally but yes this is expensive, i would suggest just manicures at home and paint them in funky colours yourself, i would not advise nail extensions at home as you may damage your nail plate.

please sign my on line petition at www.signature-nails.co.uk

many thanks
Keeley

ps another option is go to the local college beauty department they are always looking for clients and it is much more affordable.
