Question
QUESTION: i have a question that maybe you can help me with.

I currently have powder and glue on my nails but love LCN.

Can my Nail technician still do LCN with a thin layer of powder and glue on my nails?  are there any dangers in doing this?   Will the LCN take good?

ANSWER: hi charlene

its never a good idea to mix products, you would be better to soak off whats on your nails and start fresh.

QUESTION: Hi again,

I did have LCN for about 3 years and all of a sudden my nail technician said I was allergic to it.  I did lose part of my thumb nail not all of it, I think maybe water must have gotten underneath.  That is why she wants to try a slight coat of powder and glue then do LCN, but is not sure if she should omit a part of the LCN process.  I really want the LCN look again.  I absolutely love it.  Do you have any other suggestions that might help me get the LCN again?

Thanks so much for your time.

Answer
Hiya

well theres no harm in giving it a try but usually different brands dont mix well and may not last as long as it would if you were using LCN on its own, failing that, why not try a different brand of gel to achieve the look you love, there are lots of good makes out there, NSI gel, Brisa Gel, Biosculpture gel, or Calgel ?
