Question
I am addicted to my fake nails and want to give them up after 4 years!  Is there anything I can do to get them strong again and/or wean myself off them?

Answer
Hi Janet,

The best way to transition from gel to natural would be to have your tech file them as thin as possible without getting to the natural nail after filing apply only a sealant on instead of a fill and let them grow off as you get regular manicures. This way your nails wont seem as weak as they would if you just took them off. If you have your tech take them off your nails will be in much better shape than if you did it yourself.
Nailtiques is a great product to help strengthen the natural nail fast.

Hope this helps,

Amber
