Question I went to manicuring school 2 years ago, but decided not to pursue it. So occasionally I will do my friends or my own nails. Well especially with one friend, they always started popping off with in a day of doing it. before she was pregnant so we thought maybe that is what was causing it but now a year later I did hers and a friends and they both lost 2 nails. It so frustrating. I do not use a drill I file only. I file them, add primer, tips and then acrylics.
Do you have any tips that I can try to see if I can prevent the nails from coming off?
Answer Hi Mistee,
Review the directions for the specific acrylic you are using. The order you have written down of your steps primer never goes before the tips. tips go on then you file the tips then put primer on the natural nail that is exposed! then apply your acrylic!
Try this and read your directions, all acrylics have different tips and tricks.
