Nail Care & Manicures - problems with topcoat

Expert: amber Edwards - 10/12/2009

Question
when i do encased nails i observe that when i apply the top coat to the nail it sometimes gets cloudy, what causes that to happen and how can i prevent that from happening

Answer
Hi Colinda,

Are you talking about applying polish or an acrylic sealer?
If It is polish the top coat is either old or you didn't wait long enough for the polish to dry!
If it's a sealer we are talking about it must have gotten some other products mixed with it to make it cloudy maybe product wasn't cleaned off the brush all the way before using the UV top coat.

Hope this helps!
