Expert: Ambercinque - 5/28/2009

Question
Hi,I have put UV builder gel on my natural nails to make them harder. This has worked well, but now I want to remove the gel. what do I use to dissolve the UV gel. These are Not artificial nails. The gel is on my own nails.Hope you can let me know what to use.Thank you for your  time.Regards Betty:

Answer
Betty-
So this brand is not meant to soak off? Ok, unless specified on the product your using the only way to get off gel is to file them off.
Up until a couple of years ago all gel had to be soaked off. Now certian brands are making them so you can soak them off. Which is awesome. But unless they make note you will have to file them off. If you are not sure you can file them off without causing damage I would recommend going to a nail tech to do so. Otherwise good luck
