Nail Care & Manicures - IBD gel nails

Question
Hi, Can you tell me how to blend any seams between the old gel layer, that wasn't completely filed off, and the nail bed. When I redo my nails , if I don't file all the way down to the nail, and there's a little of the old gel layer left on, then after I apply the new gel layer over entire nail, you can see the old seam through the new layer. Thanks very much, Lonnie

Answer
Hi Lonnie,

You either file off the nail completely or you do a back fill and there is nothing in between.

I suggest the back fill for you: dull the nail with a fie grit file and add the gel to the back (grown out) part. Cap with clear and you are done. The method you describe will always create the problem you mentioned.

Have a good weekend and enjoy your nails
