Question
Hi,

I am from India. I just complete my school education with 68% (Math, Physics & Chemistry).
I am interested in nanotechnology education. Kindly guide me which country is best for this education UK or US? Where I can get admission? What is admission procedure? What is the future?

 Thanks.

 Regard.

Answer
Well, nanotechnology is a field of mechanical engineering, materials engineering, physics, chemistry and biology.  I do not know of any particular "nanotechnology" courses, but as you progress in each of the subjects above, you can certainly get into nanotechnology.  I think from an education point of view, the UK has better (but tougher) undergraduate courses, but the US has more applied PhD level courses.  So if you plan to follow your studies all the way through a PhD it is a very comparable educational system.  I would have a look at both, and go with comfort level, support and availability in courses at a university you like.  Hope this helps,  Jan
