Subject: The Future Of Nanotechnology

Question
The way things are at present with nanotechnology is experimental, at best.
But in the future could it be possible that nanotechnology could cure cancer by eliminating the cancer cells one by one, something that even today is risky business?
Could it also boost the functionalitys of man by giving them super-strength like in many fictional books and films?

These may sounds like idiotic questions but i've always knew that the future is computers and computers get smaller and more sophisticated every day, so i had to ask because it made me wonder.

Thank you

Answer
Hi Dave,

Actually It has already been proved by researchers of univ of Rice that it is possible to cure cancer in rats with nano technology. So it will be definitely be possible to do it for human beings also.
Nanoids are the soultions to the question you have asked.
For the second part, It can also boost the functionality of man..something turning the viruses into mitochondriae. But all this possible only if the research
is carried out in a healthy and constructive manner. But they are not distant dreams..They are at the verge of coming true.

Regards
