My name is Lane Pruett and I grew up on traditional country music. If you can not answer my question, maybe you can tell me who can. There are 3 country legends that I can think of right now that should be and should have been inducted into the Hall of Fame along time ago. I want to focus on one in particular. This man has done a lot for our music industry, as well as a great entertainer, singer, and contributed a great deal to the country music industry. I am talking about Mr. Tony Douglas. He is not only a great asset to the country music industry, a great entertainer, a great singer; he is also a very good God fearing man. I am not the only one that feels this way about Mr. Tony Douglas, but a lot of people do. I drive a truck and I have petitions out to a lot of the truck stops throughout our country pertaining to this. I don't know how many signatures that I do have but well over 5000, I know. Please tell me if this is one thing that we all, out here can do or is there any other routes that I can take, as well. I, and many others, would like for these country legends to still be alive to see their names be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Please let me know, would you please? Thank you,

Honestly there isn't anything you can do to help get anyone inducted other than maybe send your petitions into the CMA CMF and CMHOF offices just to be able to bring attention to Tony.

After you read their procedures you will see that the nominations have nothing to to with the fans opinions or favorite artists..
There has been talk recently about changing the HOF induction procedures but so far it's only been talk.
