Nashville/July 4th

Question
We are coming to Nashville for "Wing Ding" ) the national Goldwing Riders ) in July. We heard their is a big celebration at the Riverfront Park on the 4th. We would like to know what all will be going on and what time the events start. Also, what musical groups will you have? Thank you, Rhonda Rowlett

One other thing---can you tell me how to get a map of the "stars homes", that we can see on our motorcycles and not through a tour group?

Answer
Hi Rhonda,
Yes, there is a huge 4th of July party at Riverfront Park every year, it's free and usually begins a few hours before dark.
The artists have not been announced yet, but last year I think it was Charlie Daniels who highlighted the show. It's a ton of fun and it's crowded every year.

Map of the stars homes? I'm not sure that there is a current one readily available to the public, but you might want to check with the Nashville Visitors Center, but honestly I don't think there is since that's how the tours make their money and I beleive they also have to get permission to put the stars home on their tours. But there was a book put out in the early 1980's, I think about then, that has all of the stars addresses listed.
Sorry I couldn't help more with this but most Nashvillians really do try to respect our country music stars privacy.

Hope this Helps,
Jan
