Nashville - New Year's Eve

Expert: Jan Duke - 11/20/2006

Question
Jan,

My husband and I (along with 3 other friends) will be traveling to Nashville to spend New Year's Eve.  We already have a place to stay.  We are looking for something to do on New Year's that involves music.  Any suggestions?

Thanks for your expertise.

Colleen

Answer
Hi Colleen,
Here is a link to some of the best NYE parties that I've found happening in Nashville this year:

http://nashville.about.com/od/entertainment/a/xmasevents2006_2.htm

But remember this is Nashville aka Music City USA so you can expect to find music and good music at nearly every NYE party in town. The only problem you will have would be in finding your favorite genre of music.

You might also want to check with the Gaylord Opryland hotel because they always have 3 or 4 different parties going on, I think they are even having one with indoor fireworks this year, and most of the Lower Broadway Honky-tonks will have parties too..

Hope this Helps,
Jan
