Nashville - Relocating to the Nashville area

Question
Our family is looking to relocating from congested Tampa Bay Florida to nice peaceful Tennessee.  We like the Nashville area and are trying to narrow it down a bit. My husband is a mig/tig Welder for 20 years.  is there plenty work for a welder?  The cost of living here has gone crazy. We have two little girls ages 5 and 16 months and just need a nice affordable place to raise our family.

Answer
Hi,
The unemployment rate in the middle Tennessee are normally runs below 5% and has for at least a decade or so. I have a friend who's a career welder and since I wasn't up on the welders field, I asked him. He said that the local business is always great in this field.
As far as moving to a moderate living area in Nashville, you can bet it's cheaper than Florida..  Some of the best deals can be found in the surrounding counties like Sumner and Dickson, their taxes are lower and the area's are more rural too.
Hope this helps some,
Jan
