Expert: Jan Duke - 12/25/2005

Question
we are traveling to nashville from huntington, west virginia on dec 30th- jan 2nd.  last year we came to town and it was beautiful, we had our children in tow and didn't feel comfortable taking them to some of the businesses.  this year however, we have a sitter and we want to experience a new year's eve like no other.  we know about the brooks and dunn show, but what else is going on? what about the guitar drop?

Answer
Hi Staci,
The Guitar Drop was held in 2004 nothing has been released as of yet about a 2005 Guitar Drop....
But other than the Brooks and Dunn show there are several other events happening on NYE

Here is a link to several others

Phil Vasser and John Stone are performing at the "new" Nashville Palace on NYE on the web at http://www.tootsies.net/

You might also try these Dance Clubs
Mercy Lounge
Graham Central Station
The Cannery
Play Dance Bar (new club)

Also Honky-tonkin on Lower Broadway Ave is a favorite too
Hope this helps,
Jan
