Question
I have a Sarracenia hybrid i water it with rain water. Is there anything (flys & bugs) i can feed it,i have been occasionally feeding my Venus flytrap on rehydrated fish pellets is that ok for the hybrid aswell? Thanks Mike.

Answer
Good morning Mike, You shouldn't have to feed your hybrid, unless it is isolated where bugs can't get to it, as it will attract and catch bugs on its own. I don't know what is in the fish pellets, so I can't recommend them. Sarracenia tend to dissolve and utilize the soft fleshy parts of bugs and leaves the hard outer skeleton behind. I wouldn't feed it dead bugs found around the house which may have died from pesticides but if you feel like you need to feed it try flying insects or ants. Have a good day, George
