Back and Neck Injury - back pain

Expert: Lawrence Gold - 9/11/2009

Question
Hi just I want to ask a question and i hope i will have any answer.

Iave been in my back pain sense 2008 and now i donne the mri and this is the result:

I have labelled the disc as l5/s1 such that there is a sacralised l5 vertebral body.

T4/5 and T5/6 mild disc desciccation.Amild disc bulge seen at T5/6 but no disc protrusion.

T11/12 there is a shallow right paracentral disc protrusion at this level.it only minimally deforms the dura without compromising the cord.

at L2/3 there is mild degenerative disc desiccation.disc contours are otherwise normal.

and iam 27 yeas old my symtomps is sharp pain cam from between my shoulder down to my lower back I can't bend or twist and if i walk i feel tired and just i want to rest and i feel my midle of my back look like cutting in half and i feel a doul pain in my midle of my back i feel my pain in my lower back either and i feel my back empty nothing in other then my born so iam in so much pain i can't fold my arm bacward and buy the way when i donne the ct scan before the MRI it show I have a bulged disc at the L4/5 level but i don't know why it didn't show on the Mri.

So can you please explain for me what is all that mean i will be very much thank full for you if u can help.

thank you very much again

Answer
Hello, Mulu,

Your description sounds like tight back muscles.

A simplified exercise for freeing back muscles exists at:

http://www.somatics.com/back_pain.htm

That page explains the problem you have and its solution.

The complete somatic exercise is available through

http://www.squidoo.com/somatic_self-help_resources

with regard,
Lawrence Gold
