Have you considered Migraine Headaches? Beleive it or not, they are VERY under-diagnosed and show a lot of these symptoms you are experiencing. It too me ten years to get a diagnosis. It's worth looking into. Good Luck!

Hi Shanda,

I am not a doctor, however I have experienced severe vertigo for 6 plus years.  Recently, I had an MRI on performed on my cervical spine.  In 1777, I dove into the shallow end of a swimming pool causing a teardrop fracture to C-5. When my dizziness started I felt very strongly it was because of my neck injury.  Approximately 6 years ago, my neck pain went to the roof along with vertigo.  My MRI showed disc protusion at the 4-5 and the 6-7.  I then felt sure my dizziness stemed from my neck.  4 months ago I had a left upper molur removed.  The dentist caught heck trying to get it out.  She had to cut it out in sections.  Well, to make a long story short, the minute she pulled the last root out, I felt amazing.  Have not had any dizziness since.

Good luck

Shanda, the doctor briefly mentioned the possiblity of needing to get an arteriogram.  Please do!! I had very similar symptoms that actually were tia's and then a stroke. On the angiogram table the doctor asked if I went to the chiropracter because you actually can have this problem after treatment. Doctors put me on blood thinners until artery healed.
