Question Where can I find needlepoint patterns for letters that are approx. one inch in height? I want to place title on a needlepoint piece. Do you complete the background first & then do the letters over that or do you do the letters & then complete the needlepoint background around the letters/title? I am doing background in basketweave stitch. Thanks in advance for your help!

If you do a online search for "needlepoint alphabet patterns" you will find a few books that cover the topic, as well as a few sites that have patterns and/or pattern generators. However, most of these are limited in number of fonts available.
If you don't find anything you like, you can submit another question to me, and I will contact you directly about making a pattern in any font and size you wish for a small fee.
As for stitching the lettering, you should stitch the lettering first, then do the background with the basketweave.
