Hello vinette,
When doing needlepoint, sometimes I can't figure out what  color goes in which spot when there are
two colors printed on the same opening.  Thank you

sometimes it is a matter of just filping a coin. other times when you look at the design, making a smooth line will sometimes be the best choice of color.

there really is no hard fast rule other than what is pleasing to the eye of the beholder.

i know this is not an exact answer, but there is none.
