Negotiating Disputes/Judgement

Question
QUESTION: I have spoken to you before regarding this judgment and the uncooperative attorneys office. They told me to call if I would be late or had difficulty making my payment. I made the first payment on time. This months payment would be a week late due to my pay scheduele. I called and asked for the week extension. They are now threatening with more legal action and will not except it late. I don't know where to turn. I am trying my hardest to pay this off and am willing but they will not bend. I'm desperate and don't know what to do.

ANSWER: Do the best you can. Debt collector are demanding anyway and anything you tell them they are going to give you a hard time so dont be intimidated. Just do the best you can.

If you need someone to discuss this with I will be happy to help. Dont let them scare you. Debt collectors are limited in what they can do and although they can sometimes be a nuisence you dont have to be afraid of them.

If you call me maybe we can get them on a conference call and I can set them straight. THis is the fun part of my work. I get to beat up on bill collectors. (only kidding). But they do tend to be a bit more respectful when they are being observed by a third party. Call me at 937 372 8581.

---------- FOLLOW-UP ----------

QUESTION: I must let you know that they have a judgment on me and had garnished my $3.00 bank account. I'm afraid they will get my paycheck. Could you still help in this kind of situation or is it to late because of the judgement. They tricked me into letting it default.

Answer
We can negotiate at any point even if they have a judgment. Particularly if you wish to avoid a wage garnishment. We would need to complete an assessment of your finances to determine whether making a payment plan is feasable. We need to look at your income, living expenses, and debt to see whether you have a surplus or a deficit. Once the assessment is completed your bottom line will determine the options available to you. Give me a call.
