Test Reports
Hi Dr.Shamik,

My younger brother was diagnosed glomerulonephritis. His treatment has been started since one year. We went to doctor yesterday and he told me that he is having infection in his blood and prescribe AVELOX (moxifloxacin hydrochloride). I am sending his reports to you and request you to send me your expert advise.he is 24 hears old. I am sending his current reports to you for your reference.

Thank you in advance.
Adil Rasheed

Thanks for asking my opinion on Allexperts.

The test result that you have sent suggests that the patient may be having an infection. Based on the patient's symptoms, a culture of blood, urine, sputum or other tissue may be required. Usually, an antibiotic is started empirically, pending the result of the culture. After the organism is identified on culture, the antibiotic may need to be changed.

There are several types of glomerulonephritides. A histological diagnosis is made by doing a kidney biopsy. As you have not attached any other test results, I am unable to comment any further.
