Question     I am using Netscape Mail on Netscape 7.0.2 on Windows XP. The program is not accepting my preferences ; i.e. to put sent messages in Sent folder or not asking me what to do with unsent messages.
Any suggestions?
Answer     Hi George,

I would suggest upgrading to Netscape 8.0:

Answer
Hi!

It may be too late (if you already erased your old e-mails.
(see: Edit/Mail & Newsgroup account setting/Server settings-
at the bottom under "Local directory" you should see where
Netscape has your e-mail files.

((Mine is: C:\DOKUMENTE UND EINSTELLUNGEN\IAN\ANWENDUNGSDATEN\Mozilla\Profiles\default\17rn8w1m.slt\Mail\webalc.han-solo-1.net))

Save this address (yours not mine) & save that folder (Mozilla)
somewhere on your computer.
Re-install either Netscape "7" or "8" and when you are done
put the "path" (C:\DOKUM etc...) back in there where it was
AND the folder where it goes (see "path" address) and it
should work.

Also, Netscape has a lot of info on this issue too, as it
happens to a lot of people every time a new version comes up.
