QuestionMy 20 year old daughter's life is being destroyed by chronic Central Pain. It is ripping the heart and soul out of her. Narcotics are unable to keep it under control. She is beautiful, sweet and perfect in every way - but the pain is killing her. Where do we go for help - in the US or other countries? Is there a cure? What is the current research being done on the disease?
The longer this goes on I am seeing disorders develop like obcessive compulsive disorder. The pain is racking her body and now it appears to be affecting her mind. What am I as a mother to do? Please help us. Thank you for your efforts.
Answersince the pathophysiology is not known much, and the pathology seems to be diffuse.so no specific treatment is available.you can do only take more potent analgesics.in severe periods you might ask antidepressant or sedation.
another way to look for is trigger factors , and avoid them.
