AboutNicholas Unger Expertise I am particularly adept at answering any sort of question relating to the action of various neurotransmitters on neurons. Any sort of Neurophysiology/Cell Physiology or Neuropharmacology questions, particularly ion channel based in relation to physiological response. Anything other than that will earn you an educated guess.
Experience I have worked in a Neurophysiology lab for 3 years now on various projects for my dissertation. My expertise is the hypothalamic homeostatic control mechanisms in thermoregulation. Also neural control mechanisms in general as well as Suspended Animation techniques and theory.

Answer Dear Waleed,
This is indeed a troubling experience for you. Let me first begin with my disclaimer that I am not a clinically trained Dr. but rather a research scientist. The doctor's ran quite a battery of tests on you but did not find any problems. This would lead anyone to believe it is "just" anxiety. Let me tell you from my own personal experience that anxiety can do some CRAZY things, pretty much everything you just described and more. Unfortunately it is a slippery slope because you worry more and more and that makes the symptoms worse. My own symptoms included chest pains, fingers going numb, head going numb etc etc. Anxiety really is quite a powerful thing.
My recommendation would to go see a counseller and perhaps try an anti-depressent at a very low dose as prescribed by your doctor.
Now if we pretend like it is not anxiety (Which I believe it is) then some things that I would have guessed are already ruled out because of the tests. Given your symptoms you would have multiple problems. The problems all seem to stem from around the hypothalamus where temperature and drinking centers of the brain are focused. This would also explain the black dots in vision since the optic chiasm is very near. The whole body burning and localized numbness would be do to a neck injury which was ruled out during the neck x-ray.
In the end Waleed an anuerysm around they hypothalamus would be the only non-anxiety solution that can explain the sudden onset and symptoms described but even still there are some symptoms that don't match up with this. Also add to the fact that I believe such an aneurysm (Or clot) would be fatal immediately after it occured. It is my conclusion as hard as it may be to believe that it is anxiety. Your body and mind have become hypersensitive to your feelings. You feel warm and your throats dry...you start to panic a little. Blood pressure goes up, your ears begin to get heavy and you get dizzy. You panic even more, breathing faster, which will begin to make things tingle/go numb.
Its a viscious cycle. My recommendation is go see a counseler or psychologist. Short cycle of a low dose anti depressant would probably do wonders for you.
