Subject: Neuroscientific studies dealing with emotions corellating with mathematics.

Question
I'm a 20 year old with a general interest in social theory.  So at the point I'm at, I am basically just mixing up Philosophy with Sociology and Physcology.  One of the things I'm most curious about is piecing together a "master" sociological complex with working science and math behind it.

I have been looking the net with little luck for any studies or theories on Neuroscience with what I'm after.

I'm looking for subjects that deal with anything on: how emotions work in the mind, and any relationship between measuring neurons/general mathematical theories in accordance with different emotional reactions of the human brain.

If you have any terms or studies to suggest searching for I would be grateful.

Charles.

Answer
Charles,

Unfortunately, I can't point you to anything similar to what you are looking for. My suggesion would be to look into a few Oliver Sacks books to see if there is anything useful to you.

They are very interesting reads regardless.

Sorry that I could not be more helpful
