Question
Greetings,
Would anybody be willing to reco. any latest and greatest textbooks or monographs on neuro-endocrinolgy. I am researching a friends medical condition on faulty adrenal gland function (poss. tumor?). I have an academic background in science, but have been working in a vastly diff field for the last 15 years. Thanks in advance.

Answer
Reuben,

Anything by Kandel will probably have what you are looking for Neurophysiology including Neuroendocrinology. Personally if you have access to journals of physiology online that would probably be your best bet. Fortunately, faulty adrenal glands can be modulated with certain hormone treatments.

Good luck Reuben
