schizophrenia is not multiple personality disorder (MPD), thus the first answer, answers a question that is not asked.

There have been medially recorded instances that people with MPD can change eye color. Some studies have shown that different alters have

different brain wave patterns (EEG readings), although this is a topic under dispute. They often have different body language, speech patterns, and sometimes, voices.

I think your teach may have mean dis-associative identity disorder and not schizophrenia.

Schizophrenia deals with delusions: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schizophrenia

Where as dis-associative identity disorder deals with specifically multiple personalities: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dissasociative_Identity_Disorder

There have been documented cases of physical changes occurring when someone with DID switching to a different personality.  1 example was a man who had some personalities that were allergic to orange juice and others that were not.  Someone given an adult dose of a drug would show overdose effects if one of their children personalities took over.

See this article for more instances of physical changes: http://www.nytimes.com/1988/06/28/science/probing-the-enigma-of-multiple-persona

The mind may be more powerful than people believe.  And it is perhaps that unfounded belief that is holding back the mind from showing it's true abilities.

I am particularly adept at answering any sort of question relating to the action of various neurotransmitters on neurons. Any sort of Neurophysiology/Cell Physiology or Neuropharmacology questions, particularly ion channel based in relation to physiological response. Anything other than that will earn you an educated guess.

Experience

I have worked in a Neurophysiology lab for 3 years now on various projects for my dissertation. My expertise is the hypothalamic homeostatic control mechanisms in thermoregulation. Also neural control mechanisms in general as well as Suspended Animation techniques and theory.
