Question
Could you please tell me the companies that handle the sales? Also, regarding signs, I wasn't referring to the very expensive exterior signs, I was asking about the small inside signs, with or without logos: for restrooms, restaurants, shops, and the like.

Hi,

What happens to the old furnishings, signs, etc. when a Las Vegas casino or hotel goes out of business or redecorates? I'd be very interested in purchasing some of these items.

Thanks
Answer -
Casinos are constantly changing, remodeling and expanding and there is about 10 companies in Las Vegas that handle the sales.  Often it goes up for private/public auctions.  Signs are usually rented, the casinos very seldom own their own multimillion dollar signs today.

Answer
The best thing you can do is contact each casino directly adn try to establish a relationship.... most of the time it is dispursed without public knowledge.  There are dealers in LA, SF and a couple in Vegas, you would have to call information and ask for furniture estate liquidators.

With regards to the smaller signs they never go for sale, they are stored or replaced only when the plastic is broken.  Most are canisters and a new face is placed on it and it continues working.

Whether it is slot machines, equipment, furniture, fixtures, whatever, there are hundreds of people and companies that constantly contacting casinos to buy items, this is a very competitive market and hard to break into if you do not have an in.
