Question
After recently vacationing in vegas from Colorado, I find I have many questions about the various vegetation there.  Do you know of any websites that offer pictures so that I might identify some of the trees/plants that I am curious about?

These websites may be of help:

http://www.rangenet.org/directory/christiec/plants/#index
This is one on the most complete sites I've found.

http://heritage.nv.gov/atlas/atlasndx.htm - This site covers plants that are considered rare in Nevada as well as plants which are in danger of becoming extinct.

The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is a GREAT source of further, more detailed information about this topic. They are located at 901 South Stewart Street, Suite 5002 • Carson City, Nevada 89701-5245. Phone: (775) 684-2900  fax: (775) 684-2715
