Who or what is God? What is Heaven? What is the meaning of life? Who am I? What is happiness? Why is there Evil? What is Sin? What is The Bible? What is the spirit or soul?

Experience
I have been a student of comarative religions for more than 25 years, and I am currently a student of Ruharia Adi Da Samraj. My primary area of study is the dynamics of the Guru/Devotee relationship.

Question
QUESTION:
I was going through some of your answers and found :

"And this is the problem with Heaven, Hell, Reincarnation, Afterlife, Karma, Tarot, WeeGee Boards, Pre-Birth, Chakras, Prayer, etc, etc, etc., they all must be self-verifiable first, or in other words, one must have real Faith in them first, before they are usable in life."

Then what thing is there in the domain of god/spirituality/relegion that is self provan without the need of belief or faith.

Thanks.

ANSWER: Interesting Question.

What indeed (smile).

Until any aspect of the god/spirituality/religion domain can be self-verifiable it is, to the individual and by definition, a mere belief at best or a dogma at worst.

Regarding your question, one aspect that has been spoken of by others, and one that I can attest to at a personal level, is the perception of The Divine is self-verifiable.

Or in different terms there does exist an all pervading Divine Presence that transforms and translates the heart and correspondingly all actions, re-actions and motivations within the individual who is in relationship to that presence.

Awareness and perception of this relationship alters you fundamentally even if it is perceived for only a moment, and never again.

There are two fundamental and profound precepts within religious or spiritual development that are more important than any other to the seeker;

1.   Find  God.
2.   Know Thyself.

I hope that this was useful.

QUESTION: Hi,

Thanks for the answer.
What is your view about purpose of life

Answer
Interesting Question.

As you already are discovering, there is a lot one can believe about ourselves, life and all that make up this simple moment.

But at some point belief is not enough and the Truth must be understood, so the good man or woman begins to unlearn what they have always “thought” was the case and try to understand what “is” the case.

This is a big discussion but I can shorten this, and in simple terms life is neither heaven nor hell, life is school, …and this is regardless of whether there is any reincarnation, or not.

The stars above us make no distinction between Saint or Sinner, the sun in the sky above shines upon us all regardless of what we have, or have not, done.

Everything about us carries no moral or judgemental aspect; it merely is as it is, just as we are.

When you look into the eyes of a cat or dog, there is no confusion, no moral decay, and no neurosis (unless we put them there from ourselves).

The world about is does not seek for happiness or enlightenment, it is already happy and enlightened as far as is possible for its form.

It is you and me that walk about seeking for something, confused, neurotic, scared and drugged.

Meaning and Happiness already exist, so life is for us is not about the seeking of "where" is our meaning or happiness, …but instead what is it that we already always doing that prevents meaning and happiness from arising within us.

I hope that this was helpful.
