About Roger Greer
Expertise
I can answer questions on new age, ambient, world, and some sacred or classical music.

Experience
I've been a long time collector. I started a community radio station and started a new age radio show on the station, KXCI, in Tucson, AZ.
I currently have a new age/ambient/world show on that station called BRAINWAVES, which airs Mon-Tues, 6-7 AM MST.

Organizations

Question
Hi Roger;

I was a big fan of your show 'Brainwaves' on Kcxi Tucon and I realize how much I miss the type of music that you played since it is so hard to find.  I learned so much from your programing.

Is there another radio/webcast that you recommend to stay current with the mix of music (new age, world, sacred)  that you used to play?

Thanks, Patty

Answer
Thanks Patty for your kind words.
I do miss doing the show. I would suggest two places that are free to "stream" new/ambient/space music off the internet. The easiest is go to aol.com (it's free, you do not need to be an aol member for THIS web site). Click on music and then aol radio. you will download the latest activeX if you don't have it on your computer. Once you do that go back to the aol radio window and find the new age or ambient radio stations in xm and aol stations. Then the other way to find some cool sounds is thru Itunes. If you already have it on your computer, just click on the radio button while you are on the internet, there are several ambient/new age radio stations. If you don't have itunes, you can download it for free and it's a fairly small program.
there are paid music services, and I can discuss that more with you if you want at another time.
thanks again for finding me on this forum
