I've been a long time collector. I started a community radio station and started a new age radio show on the station, KXCI, in Tucson, AZ.

Question
HI sorry to bother you, its just ive been reading previous ques. on your page by other people. and i think you are a great person to talk to, um i want to know, what was the first song you heard that made you fall in love with newage/ambient music. just curious
P.S just a suggestion, have you heard of psychetropic/album, china radio sunshine/todd fletcher. if you havent, try it out.

Answer
I can remember perfectly it was in Phx AZ and I was driving around had to be 1978 or 79 and listening the greatest radio station (then) KCAC and William Edward Compton was the dj and a venue was named after him.
He played the most eclectic music EVER! He played an entire side of album from Klaus Schulze, an album called Mirage. It was AMAZING. I had to pull over and just blitz out with the music. I fell in love with Schulze ever since. It's still my fav album next to the ten record set of Contemporary Works I.
Then led me down the road of some amazing new age music ever since.
