Question How many wide outs does a team usually carry on its roster, and what wide outs this year do you think will make the team? Oh, and how many people are on a roster?
Answer WR on the roster right now: Randy Moss, Donte Stallworth, We Welker, Kelley Washington, Troy Brown, Chad Jackson, Reche Caldwell, Bam Childress, Kelvin Kight, Jabar Gaffney, Chris Dunlap, and C.J. Jones according to the Pats website. The definites to make it are Moss, Stallworth, Welker. They're going to be the top 3. Brown will probably make it based on his history with the team and his punt/kick returning ability. Aside from that who knows. Jackson didn't show much last year, but he's under his rookie contract. I can see the Pats taking 7 or 8 WRs into the season with the incredibly talented top 3 and lots of mid-level and guys they're going to be counting on doing better (Jackson, Caldwell). The rosters must be cut to 53 players. Feel free to shoot another question if you have more or if I didn't answer what you were looking for. Thanks.
