Question
hello sir
can we do spot welding of two brass pieces in mutual these are of maximum 4 mm thickness??

Answer
In the past the typical method for joining two brass pieces was by soldering  or brazing. i.e. using a brass rod and flame to join them with the brazing rod and the "glue" to hold them together. More recently TIG welding has become  the preferred method. TIG stands for tungsten inert gas. A tungsten rod or electrode is used to produce the arc and  the arc is surrounded by an inert gas, argon to shield it. This prevents splatter, smoke and slag and makes a very clean weld.
