Answer
The 2005 Census estimate for Ossipee was 4,637 residents, which ranked 75th among New Hampshire's incorporated cities and towns. Also of interest, the town's population, for the first census was 339 residents in 1790.


65.4 persons per square mile of land area. Ossipee contains 70.9 square miles of land area and 4.4 square miles of inland water area.
