Question
Next year I have a couple of friends from England coming over to the States to enjoy a little of Autumn in New England.  They are arriving in Boston on the 26th September.  I am planning on 2 days in Boston (to let them enjoy The Freedom Trail and partially recover crossing the “Herring Pond”).

One day in Kennebunkport and then up to Boothbay Harbor.  From Boothbay Harbor I thought I would take them over to Mount Washington via Center Harbor (she is a quilter - Keepsake Quilt shop is there).  After Mt. Washington we are off to Vermont.

My question.....is there any “must see” in New Hampshire that you might suggest I include.  Keep in mind, I'm not trying to expose them to New Hampshire, but rather a taste of New England.

Any thoughts would be appreciate.

Answer
I think that a must see in NH is a trip up the Kangamangus HWY as it shows such beautiful fall foliage. Which New England is famous for. I would also suggest that you take them over a covered bridge or two they are all over the place just crossing into vermont you will find many. New England is a great place for old wooden covered bridges.

hope this helps

Debbie
