Question
Hi Valerie.

We've been back to Albuquerque twice in the last two years and really enjoy it there. It's such a relaxed pace compared to other places we've been.

We like it so much we're looking for information on short term furnished accomodations. Can you point me to who could help me with pricing a furnished appartment for a 3 month stay. Of course this would be August to October during the chili harvest.

Thanks

Rick

Answer
Hola Rick,
Albuquerque is definitely a more casual, slower-paced city which makes it more liveable in our opinion.

There are long-term stay hotels which may offer some good rates, such as Extended Stay, Residence Inn, HomewoodSuites and Candlewood Suites.  Usually you can negotiate a weekly rate.

Other options to look into would be www.tempstay.com, www.vrbo.com and www.oakwood.com.  These offer short term corporate housing solutions or vacation rentals which may be negotiated for a longer stay.

I hope this helps you in your quest.  If you have other questions, let me know.

Vaya con Dios,

Valerie
