Question
Tom,

I have a copy of the Ellis Island Immigrant Cook Book and have enjoyed it immensely over the years.  Is it still in publication and/or have you written another like it?  Many of my friends have seen it and are interested in getting a copy.

I recently visited Liberty and Ellis Island and am a contributor to the restoration. It's always an emotional experience when I stand on the same ground my parents stood on so many years ago when they came from Croatia.

Thank you for your efforts and the time you put into the research to record these memorable recipes.

Answer
Hi Barbara,

Thank you for your inquiry and interest in my book.  The University of Texas did a beautiful printing in August 2004.  I updated it (phone numbers, etc.) and added more recipes.

If you go to my website you can print out an order form. www.ellisislandcookbook.com

My best email for the book is:

ellisbook@aol.com

I look forward to hearing from you.

Many thanks...

Have knowledge of the old immigration facility. I was a tour guide there and am the author of The Ellis Island Island Immigrant Cookbook. Also, to some extent, The Statue of Liberty.
