Question
hi there ,
i don't know if my question is right for you , but here it is , iam a tourist coming to NY and i will be staying in Manhattan 42nd street and i want to know is it faster and easier to go to Hicksville in long island or to Paramus, NJ ? and how to get there ?
thank you

Answer
Hi Jina,

Both are very easy.  At 34th Street and 7th Avenue you take the Long Island Railroad to Hicksville.

At 42nd at 8th Avenue (Port Authority Bus Terminal) you take a bus (New Jersey Transit) to Paramus.

I am sure the schedule for both would be on line.

Info on my Ellis Island tour is on line at  ellisislandtours.com

Enjoy your visit to NYC.

Tom
