Question
QUESTION: When did the first Bernardin come to the US,  did they come through Ellis Island or Canada?

ANSWER: Well, hello from one Bernardin to another.  Where/Who are you?  My ancestors came down from Canada in 1885 to Massachusetts.  Another branch came down from Canada to California.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Tom

QUESTION: The name is what caught my attention to the web site,  my fathers name is Tom Bernardin, he is from Pheonix and his parents from Albany, NY, Alcid and Ann.  I'm living in Washington State now.

Answer
Hi Kenneth,

Please email me at   ellisbook@aol.com.   Easier.

I have a cousin Alcid Bernardin, lives in Pebble Beach, CA.  I met a Tom Bernardin, CEO of a big ad agency.  Is that your dad?  What year was Alcid born?  Who are his parents?  (your great grandparents).  Are you of Canadian descent?  Cardinal Bernardin was Italian.

Tom
